THE ART OF THE BRICK ~ ~ ~

This was the title of a Lego exhibit at our Mansfield Art Center in November and December! We went on the last day ~ so glad we made the effort! Enjoy

This is a traveling show and we were told that 14,000 people saw it here in Mansfield ~ that was a wonderful revenue building event for them ~ unbelievable what you can do with Legos!

I shouldn't be looking at this post. It wouldn't take much for me to go out and buy tons of legos and just play all day long with them. I got a set for my nephew Kayden for Christmas. It was my first set, he's 4 years old. The pieces were in the box but were wrapped in plastic, drat I wanted to play with them when I brought them home!! He was very happy with them on Christmas too! Maybe he'll share.....

Happy New Year Alice!!

Oh my, this is spectacular. Some people are very creative. Lego is not just for kids but also for those who are kids at heart.
Love it and thanks for sharing this Alice.
My kids always played with lego and so did my grandkids but nothing as grand as this. I must admit, I played with Lego too. So much fun...I've seen some great Lego exhibits on the web way back. very impressive work.

Stay safe and warm.

Wow, I had buckets of lego as a kid and loved it. But never came remotely close to creating anything like those.

Alice,

I would LOVE to have seen that exhibit. How talented are those people - not just in the concepts of their creation, but in being able to build them. I think this is where lego meets art plus architecture. Thanks for sharing.
