Lucille Festa of American Country Rugs is our teacher for the week ~ I think it's going to be a great class!
She brought lots of dusky, drab colors ~ great for recreating an antiquey looking rug!
Lucille brought some of her rugs to share ~
A Magdalena style pattern ~
And a great floral ~ I'll keep you posted all week! There are 16 of us (in this class) from Ohio, Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri ~ hookers will go a long way to hang out together! There are five teachers altogether
I'll try to keep you in the loop it's much easier with my iPad right here than going back and blogging at night! I'm waiting for my turn with the teacher so this was the perfect time to share with you! My friends, Donna and Carol, are in this class, too ~ great to be hooking with people you know! Friend Heidi opted out ~ I miss her!!
We'll talk soon!!

The last picture you shared of the floral can you tell me who sells it! Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful week.
Looks like a really nice class. Love all those 'old' colors!
These are the teacher's rugs ~ Lucille Festa of American Country Rugs.
Tell Lucille that I will miss her this November in Ocean City, MD. But I'll be with her friend Betsy.
Love Lucille's 'dirty muddy' wool purchased from her, of which I've used lots of.
