HAPPY NEW YEAR ~ ~ ~

Although very belated, I wanted to wish you a great new year ~ happy, healthy and prosperous!!

I've had a hard time getting back into blogging ~ hopefully, this will be the jump start I need!! I was so sick the week before Christmas and not on top of my game when my Seattle kids arrived. I feel like the week was a blur of cooking, eating, coming and going ~ it's taken me a bit to get back to normal.

Hope you are all doing well and flu-free and enjoying the after-holiday quiet!!
Talk to you soon!!!

Hi Alice, Happy New Year to you too.
I'm glad that you're feeling better from that nasty flu. One reason I detest shopping the crowded malls around Christmas is because first I don't like crowds and second the flu germs are everywhere.

I had a low key Christmas and it was nice. I had family visit in the afternoon, a turkey dinner with all the trimmings for 5 people at 7:00PM

My computer was giving me problems and I couldn't leave comments as I was getting cut off all the time. I got the problem fixed.

Have a great rest of the week

Happy New Year to you too. Glad that you are starting off this new year feeling a bit better than you ended the last one.

Seems that no amount of planning and prep can deter the chaos that is Christmas. So much prep and then it is over in a flash. And then you have to put it all away. Like every other dinner, but on steroids. LOL
Nice to be catching up on all the blog friends.

Hi Alice, thanks for your comment. To answer your question, No I don't sleep much, that's why I have double bags under my eyes, big enough to hold extra wool worms in there, lol.

I would give away a rug just for a real good night sleep, hahaha.
Have a great Sunday.

Hugs,
JB
