My life is a busy one ~ my husband, Sonny, and I have a blended family of 6 kids, 5 of them married and 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren! We have a building business and I am the Office Personnel, if you know what I mean!! I also have a small rug hooking business in my home studio, where I sell as-is wool and my own hand-dyed wool, beautiful frames and stands that my husband builds and some finished hooked pieces, etc. I would love to hook every day, all day, as I'm sure many of you would ~ but that's rarely possible!! Thanks for checking in and I hope you'll find A DAY IN THE LIFE ~ ~ ~ entertaining!!
This sweet little rug, hooked with alpaca fleece, was taken out of my booth at the Quailcrest Show! If you see it displayed in someone's home, please let them know where it came from!
Hi Alice, I read your last post and saw what a fantastic time you all had at the hook in...how fun. I'm still chomping to get to work on my hooked projects but in time...it will happen. Now crocheting???? Lovely color. Karen
At Woolfest I was watching a lady weave on a loom. I could tell my husband was getting nervous. I said, " don't worry honey, I'm not going to start another hobby." LOL!
OH NO!!!!! What is wrong with you??????? You crazy? (well I know the ans there). I love wool too.......please tell us what you are doing and what you are making. I already love it.
love seeing the pictures from the hook in! i have only been to...1 and loved it and cant wait for another, i have to travel as not much up here in north minnesota.. but worthe the travel! enjoy your knitting!
Could that yarn be any more delicious!!! and what a fun one for the summer. Welcome to the club. You will now just have to apportion your time differently, based on a criteria that changes with the wind. I love having all these projects on the go, so I can cater to every whim.
My mom is soo into knitting too. And she spend countless times on it on the veranda. I thought it was a waste of time until i saw the fruits of her labor, it is just awesome. Ed Butowsky

Hi Alice,
Nice knitting, girlfriend! Have you tried knitting up any of the Ozark Handspun wool yet? Hope your summer is going well...too fast for me!
