I just love your garden pictures!
Dulcy
Me, too!! Me, too! Your garden pictures are so pretty and give me hope that eventually, my back yard might actually come close to being that nice.
I hope you're having a wonderful time at the lake. It sounds like so much fun but I've opted to stay home this year. Too much trouble to try and tote my walker everywhere and then keep my balance while trying to walk with it on uneven ground. But I'm not looking for sympathy. This too shall pass and hopefully, by mid-summer, this will all be nothing more than a bad memory. And I can always look forward to July 4th or Labor Day.
Mr. Catfish is looking great. My thumb is still dead feeling so I'm not getting much hooking done. Thank God for laptops and blogs to read....LOL.
I love your pictures of the garden and hooking. Please post lake adventure pictures. We have a lake home in Arkansas and I always take all my hooking stuff to the lake. The back of the car is so filled with my stuff and the kids toys that we barely can fit in any groceries. Sometimes we take two cars! Isn't it the best thing in the world to hook while on vacation at the lake, feeling the breeze and listening to the waves and boats on the water! I love the catfish. So appropriate for the water.
Good morning!! Dulcy, JoJo and Joan ~ thanks for reading and commenting ~ you spur me on!!
Jojo ~ three years ago right now ~ I ran from a bumblebee while working in the garden and broke my ankle which resulted in a plate and 6 pins to put me back together! Most of the summer was spent recuperating and believe me, it wasn't fun ~ I sympathize with you so much but take heart!! My ankle holds me up and gets me where I'm going ~ sometimes we need to slow down and the universe figured out a way for me!! I'll try to keep you entertained and hopefully, you can get back to hooking soon!!! Alice
Oh Alice,
I love your flowers:)
Isn't it great to be finally get into the dirt and play after such a long winter? Your lake pictures are making me very jealous. We can sit outside on our screened porch, but if we sit anywhere else the bugs will eat you alive.
Tell Sonny that I made a rhubarb custard pie too, my first. I'll let you know how it turns out....we are eating it tonight.
Wooly hugs,
Trudy
