Maiden Voyage ~ so to speak!

This is my first attempt at blogging ~ something told me that someone out there might be interested in what I had to say!! We'll see!

I would like to add a picture of the rug I'm working on but I don't know how to do that yet!! It's going to be such an interesting rug ~ "Catfish" drawn by Kris Miller, adapted from a Margaret Shaw painting ~ I've had it for several years but just took it with me to Barbara Carroll's to have her help in color planning it. It started out to look kind of wild in color but as we progressed the background and the border is settling it down and making it kind of dramatic. I can't wait for you all to see it!!

I'm going to bite the bullet and publish this email and I will try to figure out how to include pictures!! Have a happy day!!

Yay Alice! Welcome to the world of blogging! :D
to post a picture in your blog there is a little picture icon in the posting unit itself - click on it, and then browse your puter for the pic you want, and then click done. The one thing i still struggle with, is that the pics are always added to the top of the post, so when doing several you have to upload them in reverse! LOL!
Good luck!! Have fun blogging!! :D

Congratulations Alice. As a native Ohioan, I can't wait to see how your blog continues. You are so much more courageous than me to do this. Love the rug and hope to see it as it progresses.
Cheers!
