COUNTRY SAMPLER ~ ~ ~

This is the cover of the current Home Tour edition that our home is in!! It's on the newsstand now if you want a closer look!

"Made in America" is the title of the really nice article written by Rebecca Razo and photos by Bill Matthews and Gloria Gale. We really are thrilled to be included along with the home of our friends, Pat and Chuck Knapp on page 34. January's issue showed the home of our friends, Vivian and Lou Schomburg ~ which was built by Fraizer Builders ~ that would be us!!

Happy reading!!

Congratulations Alice, I'm so happy for you. You must be thrilled to get your home featured in the Country Sampler... I'll be picking up my copy. It's such a gorgeous magazine. I love it even though my house is not country of folksy.

Thanks for reminding us to pick up our copy.
Hugs,
JB
Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Alice! I purchased the magazine and your home is beautiful! So many primitive, antique furnishings, wonderful, wonderful eye candy! Gorgeous! I love all your rugs! And I really like the wooden chair with the upholstered backing and seat in front of that beautiful window. I could sit in that chair and hook all day!

Hi Alice, it is funny. I was looking thru the new issue, got to your house, saw the prody rug on the wall and thought of you.then glanced at the next page saw your 1668 rug and said out loud " I know whose house this is". How exciting for you! Everything looks Wonderful! You must be so proud. Thanks for sharing. Lisa

OMG, I'm so very glad you posted this on your blog since I don't subscribe to the magazine. Well of course I had to buy it and your home is gorgeous. Your home, antiques, dolls and rugs are wonderful. And then had to immediate write Barb Carroll to ask if she'd seen the issue. Thanks so much for sharing with us and congratulations.

BTW, my house doesn't look that clean as there is wool dust on the furniture, on the cutting table, wool strips all around me as I'm working on these two rugs.
